of Nightmares, Wheelchairs, and Jacquelyn Powell's Groove Secrets

We have a new single!

Photobucket

It's called "Nightmare" and it shall haunt your dreams... in a pleasant way... probably.
This is the fulfillment of Marley Thorn's new year's resolution/proclamation:

"From this day forth, let it be known that we shall release a single every month, and re-watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy at least twice."

And so it was, and so it shall be.

We also have some production photos from our project with the talented folks at SSP films, a music video which shall be unveiled in the coming days. A big thank you to Garrett and Eric, who not only know their stuff when it comes to film production, but they're also impressively adept at maneuvering a wheelchair for high speed action shots.

Huge thanks also to:
Ms. Jacquelyn Powell for sharing her groove secrets by choreographing our video, and to Chelsea and Vanessa for helping us bring it all to life and making us look cool. Charlotte, Kelly, and Olivia for providing their support! Everyone at the Moose Lodge for letting us use their place and for being incredibly generous and nice!

of Gameday, SSP, and Cryptic Allusions to the Future.

Some new developments:

We're happy to announce that we'll be playing at GameDay Sports Bar in Rocky Mount on Saturday February the 12th. We're working on including some new stuff into our show- don't miss the unveiling! Got valentines day plans? Bring them along! Your date will respect your adventurous nature.

We spent last weekend with our friends from SSP films putting some ideas together for an AWESOME-but-top-secret project of which we can only vaguely allude to with cryptic language and some production photos (coming soon!).

You also may be thinking "Marley Thorn and SSP films? Surely I have heard or seen such a collaboration before!", and you would be correct! It was with SSP films that we first presented our music to the interwebs , combining our instrumental track "Jura" with their awesome "Time Lapse Across America" video. Cool stuff. If you haven't seen it yet- please see below:

A new single from Marley Thorn is in the works- we'll be releasing it soon...
Until then,

Marley Thorn
