One of our all time favorite songs to perform is also one of our earliest, "Sgt. Montgomery". We started playing it around 2008 and it has only gotten weirder. First off, those familiar with the song live will know that Travis likes to give the countoff to the song using random positive integers ranging from 17 to 6 million. It is also one of the only songs I know where four slide guitars mimic horn section harmony. The sergeant has been with us for a good while now, and it is entering a new phase of life as we have began recording a version of it for release! Watch this space for more info. It's almost ready...
We are also getting ready to make available this months new single! A chilled out carefree ode to anti psychotic medicine called "Thorazine angel". Before you turn to a frontal lobotomy, give this song a try! It will be up before this month is done, we assure you.
In other news we have seen some awesome sneak previews of our recent project with ssp films. It is on its way and is shaping up very nicely indeed!
Ta ta for now,
Marley thorn
